Salers Association Welcomes New Board Members

PARKER, Colo. – As 2015 is off to a great start, so is the American Salers Association Board of Directors.  At the conclusion of the 2015 National Western Stock Show, the new ASA Board of Directors took office. Many are returning directors, but there are some new to the board.


Along with a new board, Donald Johnson was elected as the 2015 American Salers Association President. Donald resides in Eubank, Kentucky with his wife Lana and family. Donald runs his ranch Diamond J Farms and has been utilizing Salers genetics for over twenty years. The association is excited to see Donald Johnson’s leadership qualities and the future of the association.

The American Salers Association (ASA), with headquarters in Parker, Colo., is the Salers breed’s leadership voice that records, protects and promotes Salers cattle. The ASA has represented Salers breeders across the nation since 1974.
